George Castro of Chula Vista, California passed away on Monday, June 11, 2012, He is survived by his Children, JoAnn Doud, Nancy Weber, Linda Lay, Mona ( Mike) Boone, George( Maria ) Castro, Jr, Steve Castro Grandchildren Ariel, Josh, Chris, Adrianna, Victoria, George, Jerry, and one Great Grandchild Austin, Dan Clark & Sons, Linda June Moore, Jim Clark,Jr, Jim Clark III, Ashley, Monique & Family. George was born and raised in Otay, California on February 22, 1927 to Merced Castro and Librada Careon. George joined the United States Army at a young age and later made his career as a Lead Auto Technician Mechanic for over 30 years. George loved his family, his country and his Chargers. George will be missed dearly by his loving family. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 29th, 2012 at 1:00 pm in the Serenity Chapel located at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910. Military Honors will be held at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery on Wednesday, July 11 ,2012 at 12:00 Noon.Funeral arrangement are under the care of Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey.
