

Gilberto Robles, 74 years old, of San Diego, passed away on January 10, 2014. He was born in El Rancho Santa Fe, San Fernando Tamaulipas, Mexico on January 17, 1939 to parents Lorenzo Robles and Rita Cerda.
Gilberto Robles graduated from the Universidad de Montemorelos and received a degree as a "Contador Privado" from
the Colegio de Contaduria Privada. On April 31st Gilberto married the love of his life, Martha Elena.
Gilberto started a second career, his favorite, as an Electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 569. He was also a proud member of the Republican Party. Gilberto had many hobbies and loved spending time with his family enjoying favorite pastimes such as camping and hiking. He also was an avid photographer and a licensed pilot. He spent many hours creating model planes and model trains.
Gilberto's legacy of survivors include his wife; Martha Elena, two sons; Gilberto Robles Jr. and Lorenzo Robles, his six grandchildren; Isaac, Natalie, Dylan, Briana, Isabelle and Jamison. His surviving brothers and sisters are; Pedro, Antonio, Celia, Adolfo and Lupe Cerda.
A memorial service to honor his life will be held at San Ysidro Spanish Church, Seventh-Day Adventist Church, located at
521 Blackshaw Lane, San Ysidro, California, 92173 on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 6 p.m.
