He is survived by Evangeline Baluyot Egaran, his wife of 43 years, children Joy, Alfred and Eugene and nine grandchildren.
Born in Zambales, Philippines, he joined the U.S. Navy in 1969 and retired as Chief Mess Specialist in 1991.
Viewing is at Humphrey Mortuary, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista on July 19 and 20, from 5:00 to 9:00pm. Mass is on July 21, at 10:00am at Corpus Christi Church in Bonita. Interment at 12:30pm at Miramar National Cemetery.
