This year, Josie and The Pussy Cats left us, I hope she found you? The good times I use to have with her in your garage. I don't know how many times you would come out there and yell at us to shut up because we were too loud. God do I miss those times and I really miss you two. Until we meet up again take care of my Girl, Love and Respect, Connie

I served with John in Okinawa and in Mainland Japan in 1987. We had many great times together back then, and I'd always wondered where he'd gone after the USMC. Sitting down tonight and Google searching, I discover he's passed. He was a great guy and lot of fun... I have many photos of him back in the day - this is one. Taken at Camp Kinser with CSSD-32 in May of 1987. Rest in peace brother.  Don Teresi  

JJ, I have so many memories of you but most of all I remember how you always made sure I was safe. You were a brother to me and I will never forget that. Of course, I will think of you with I hear a Johnny Cash song.  I would like to think you and My Big Guy are together having a beer.  Love Connie

Uncle Johnny, words cant express how much I'm going to miss you. You left me with such amazing memories that i will never forget. From when wela and welo, you and me took welos bus down baja California, to our camping trips with all my cousins. You were the first person to teach me how to filet a fish, shoot a gun, and throw a punch. You were such a good dad to bubba when he was growing up. Reminded me of Mufasa and Simba. I love you so much. And so many people showed up today you would be so happy to know how many people love you. You have amazing friends and only time will tell when we can all be together. Until then, Give wela a BIIIIIIIIIIIG hug and kiss for me when you see her. Because i know she is with you. I miss her so much its still hard for me.   Love you uncle johnny. 

JJ, I will never forget you. You were a man with a heart of gold and would give someone the shirt off your back. I will always remember singing Johnny Cash songs with you. I will always share stories of you to keep your memory alive. Much love and respect for you My Friend. Rest In Peace until we meet again.
