Josephine Colmenero Malabanan

Josephine Colmenero Malabanan, 81 years old passed away early May 4, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Josie is survived by her Son Michael Miramontes, Brothers David, Jose Rosario, Umberto and Mario Colmenero, Sisters Victoria Colmenero and Carmen Clegg. Josie is preceded in death by her parents Mauro and Maria Colmenero, Brothers Mauro Jr., Arturo, Ricardo, Eduardo Colmenero and her Beloved Husband Richard Malabanan. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

My mother is now resting, free from her pain and illness. She will never be forgotten. Her legacy of Love and Family will live with us forever, Rest in Peace, Love and Kisses from All of your Family.

A viewing will take place on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 5:00pm - 10:00pm at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910, followed by a Rosary @ 7:00pm. A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 12:00pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church: 1770 Kearney Ave, San Diego, CA 92113. After the mass, Josie will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery 4470 Hilltop Dr., San Diego, CA 92102. Immediately following a Celebration of Life will be held at V.F.W, Don Diego Post 2100 Logan Avenue, San Diego, CA 92113
