Plutarco Andrew Chavez a long time resident of Chula Vista, California passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2013 in La Mesa California. Plutarco was born on February 11, 1932, in Santa Maria, California to Plutarco Chavez and Juana Lopez.
Plutarco joined the United States Air Force and served for four years as a Sergent. After his release from the military Plutarco worked for Pacific Bell for over 30 years.
Military Honors will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 1:30pm at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. Plutarco will be laid to rest next to wife Sally M. Chavez. at Fort Rosecrans.
