Raul Gallegos, 86, of San Diego, CA, passed away Wednesday March 6, 2019. He was born in Guadalajara, Mexico on March 28, 1932. He was married to Olga Gallegos on October 5, 1957.

Raul has a career as a welder in the ship-yards. He had a passion for carpentry and loved to fix thing. He was a really good handyman.

Raul is survived by his daughters; Sandy Hernandez, Yanina Luna; 6- grandchildren; Andrew Luna, Natalie Vaclaw, Daniel Hernandez, Vanessa Luna, Denise Luna, Veronica Luna; 3- great grandchildren Aurora and Emmett Vaclaw, Ezra Luna. Preceded in death by his wife Olga Gallegos and son Raul Gallegos Jr.

A viewing will take place Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11:00am-12:00pm and Celebration of Life will follow at 12:00pm in the Serenity Chapel located at Funeraria Del Angel Chula Vista; 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910 619-425-9111. Immediately following the chapel service a graveside will take place at La Vista Memorial Park: 3191 Orange St., National City, CA 91950.
