Raymond B Howard born July 4, 1922 passed away on October 27, 2013. Ray proudly served in the US Navy for 27years. Ray was a Navy Pilot during WWII and served as a Lieutenant Commander. After retiring from the Navy, he was employed by Pacific Southwest Airlines, where he trained pilots. A memorial mass will be held at St. Pius X in Chula Vista on November 2, 2013 at 10am. Ray will be laid to rest with military honors at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery on November 5, 2013 at 11:30am. Ray is survived by his Daughter Robin Pitts, Grand-daughter: Michell Lynn Rose and son-in-law D. Dale Rose, Grandson: Shawn S. Pitts and daughter-in-law Stacy Pitts, Great-grandchildren: Andrew Dale Rose, Patrick Mitchell Rose, Oliver Howard Rose, Caleb Raymond Pitts, Katherine Grace Pitts.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to St Pius X Building Fund.
