Reynitto Patacsil of Chula Vista, CA, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. Born on October 4, 1955 in Pensacola, Florida, he was the son of the late Emeterio and Lydia Patacsil of Imperial Beach, CA.
He was a long-time resident of San Diego County. He graduated from Mar Vista High School in Imperial Beach and then attended Coleman College for Computer Operations. Upon graduation, Reynitto was employed by Solar Turbines where he worked for 35 years until his retirement in 2016.
Reynitto was involved in varsity tennis and varsity basketball. He also played sports competitively with his brothers and friends. He enjoyed skiing, riding his motorcycle, spending time with dear old friends, and spoiling all his nieces and nephews. He was a frequent movie-goer and loved to dine at Chilis with family and friends.
Reynitto is preceded in death by his brother Daniel Patacsil. He is survived by his oldest brother Gerardo Patacsil, husband of Robin Patacsil (La Mesa, CA), sister-in-law Jean Patacsil (Imperial Beach, CA), brother Emeterio Patacsil Jr., husband of Kathleen Patacsil (Chula Vista, CA), sister Jeanne Swartchick, wife of Robert Swartchick (Alpine, CA); 11 nieces and nephews: Dominic Patacsil, Genna Dahlberg, Genelle Patacsil, wife of Charles Blanchette, Gabrielle Patacsil, wife of Sandesh Devaraju, David Patacsil, Robinson Swartchick husband of Cristina Swartchick, Brittnie Swartchick Ruiz wife of Alan Ruiz, Justin Patacsil, Alexis Patacsil, Michael Patacsil, and Chelsea Swartchick; 5 grandnieces: Maya Dahlberg, Cici Dahlberg, Bernadette Patacsil, Gia Blanchette, Niko Devaraju; and grandnephew on the way, Robinson Tyler Swartchick, Jr.
Visitation and viewing will be Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 3-6 pm and rosary will follow at 6pm.
