He was born April 16th 1932 to Luigi and Olga Salieri in Imola, Italy.
On November 27th 1960 he married Olga Felix in San Diego, Ca.
Sergio’s passion was playing golf, drinking wine, dancing with Olga and spending time with his family and friends. He was larger than life, had a contagious laugh and never knew a stranger.
Sergio was an officer in the Italian Navy when he met his lovely bride Olga in San Diego where they made their home for over 40 years before moving to Temecula.
Survivors include his wife Olga; his 4 daughters, Clarizza Verdugo of San Diego, CA., Grace Moss of San Marcos, CA., Dianna Staab of Gainesville, FL., Sarina Holborn of Murrieta, CA., his 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren in addition to his sister Pina Bandini, nieces and nephew and their children in Italy.
A mass service will be held at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic church….at 10:00 am, June 16, 2014.
