I really miss my nanny gram everyday. Especially on the days that I look back on all the times that I would sit and watch movies with her and just have a relaxing evening. I remember waking up to the smell of the whole house of a chimney stove. My nanny was an amazing woman. 

Nanny I promised you that when you would leave me one day that I would put flowers on yours and papa Howard’s headstone and I kept my promise to you. It makes me mad that no one can do this but it’s okay. I love you and I will always make this effort to do so. I love you nanny gram. I miss you so much. Angels on your pillow.

Nanny gram, I love you so much and miss you everyday. You are so much loved and missed. I miss your voice and your holidays. I miss going to your house every weekend and praying for you to win the lottery or even just riding in the car with you and listening to all the country classics. But I will never ever forget watching the grand ole opery with you. But I promised you that I would leave you flowers every weekend and I do. You left and I am here all the time talking to you and leaving them for grandpa Howard as well. But I’m glad you have mom again with you. Love you nanny.

No one will know how much I am missing her already. She is the last of Ted,s brothers and sisters to go. Now Nola has all her children with her, may they have a great time. Although it has been years since I have been able to see, feel her touch, smell her perfume, I can still hear her voice, the kind one she would use when she was happy and excited.  The way she would laugh at something silly that was said.  The way she would yell when she hit a big jackpot.  The way she would smile when she gazed at one of us as children would please her.  Like my own parents, you and Uncle Howard have always been my measurement on how true love lives forever.  God's Speed, rest in peace my favorite aunt of all aunts in this world.  Love and HugZ  Sam
