You are missed so much Uncle Duane. I miss your visit to my moms house. You helped her out so much when my dad passed away. She would always call and say Duane is coming to visit and she was so excited and I would always go by and say hi. I want to thank you so much for all the Chinese food lunches at that great restaurant. I loved our visit 's no matter where they were. You always had a theory for everything we talked about. You would always ask what I thought and than you would tell me about what you thought. I loved that about you. You enjoyed all the family parties you came to at Rick and Sharon's and we enjoyed you and Aunt Luretta there just as much. Say hi to my family up there for me and you will deeply be missed. Love your niece Patty!

Duane was such an icon in the neighborhood.  He moved through the neighborhood with such enthusiasm.  He was always ready to stop on one of his walks and talk to you about just about anything. He was always interested in what you were doing and how your were doing it and freely gave advice even though sometimes he was just joking with you.

My father lived across the street from Duane and Loretta.  When my father was alive, he and Duane loved to debate all types of issues.  Those visits made my dad's day. 

Duane will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Duane will be missed greatly!  We have been neighbors since they moved to Loleta Ave. and what terrific people he and Loretta are!  My children, grandchildren and myself have all been touched by the humor, sincerity, and caring of this man! God Bless you, Duane, you are sincerely missed!!!!

We are so sad to hear of Duane's passing ... A long time neighbor we loved you guys visiting our garage sales, we could always know you would show up and spend time visiting and catching up about life and adventures on our front porch, as recent as a few months ago. We enjoyed it so much... Always left us smiling..... Loved your spirit and spunk Duane ... May God bless you all with comfort and peace ...
