Dad, I am asking that all those who read your guest book let these pages stand as a testimony to the totally out-of-this-world person that you were. From the brightest minds in Silicon Valley to the some of Baltimore's most precious "pieces that matter" to the loving people of Spring, Texas, wherever you touched someone's life, you changed it for the better. The world lost a good man on Feb 2nd. We all love you.

My father was an incredible person. He and he alone taught me what unconditional love was, and he taught me that by example. I am very proud and lucky to be his daughter, and I love him more than words can express. He taught me to forgive, to love, and to do my best and clean up my mistakes when I made them; it's not the mistakes that count but how you clean them up. I have passed this lesson on to his four wonderful, loving, and precious grandchildren. My father's love and goodness will live on in Zachary, Arianne, Kenny and Kevin.

Losing my father is crushing, but at the same time, joyous. My father is free from the sufferings of this world, and reunited with both my equally incredible grandmother and grandfather, and two very special people, Markus and Grace. 

I know my dad is watching over all of us who loved him, and whom he loved. I know we will see him when we pass from this life to the next. 

If there's one other thing my dad taught me it's that life is unfair, and to find happiness we must learn to "dance in the rain". Dad, I promise you I'm going to keep dancing, no matter how hard those raindrops fall.

Rocket Man, as you've slipped the surly bonds of Earth, put out your hand and touch the face of God as you now soar among the stars for eternity.

Don't worry about Sarah Sue and the kids hon.  They're loved by a lot of people. Your 3 grandsons and lovely granddaughter are kind and lovely people, and I love your daughter as if she were my own. Paula Burke

Grampop I am naming my first daughter Hilda. I fit right into Grammy's clothes! I love you and I took most of the pictures here. I'm going to save abandoned horses and take beautiful pictures to make the world a better place.  I love you!
