Ms. Wade was the best teaching aid in the world while I was at Town and Country. She was always there to help you out. She would sit with you for as long as it took to understand something. She had a great sense of humor. Judy Wade will be truly missed.

Walt, you are in my thoughts and prayers as you move through this loss.  I knew Judy from her work in the Rio Linda District--and you from morning coffee at LaBou!  Judy has now joined with your parents...and her good work lives on in the children and adults her life impacted.

I worked with Judy at Sac State and at Merryhill Country Schools.  She was dedicated to the success of her colleagues completing their Specialist Credential under her supervision at Sac State and to the children she tutored at Merryhill.   She has benefited many children through both of these contributions and has given them a lifetime gift.  We all valued our time with her.  Dr. Mary Jane Pearson

Hawton-Hill and I were saddened to hear of Judith's sudden passing.  While we never had the opportunity to meet her, it is clear that she was loved and appreciated by her family, friends, and coworkers. You have our deepest condolences.

I'm quite sure Judy was a favorite niece of my grandmother's and/or a favorite cousin of my mom's, as she was very often present at our family gatherings when I was a little girl. She was like another aunt to us. She had such a heart for kids. What a dear person. I know that she will be missed by many whose lives she touched.

I am so sorry to hear about Judy.  I worked in the Rio Linda School District for 34 years and she was my favorite sub! I always requested her first. She was wonderful with kids, always kind but firm.  She was a wonderful person.  I'm sorry for your loss.

We are so sorry to hear of Judy's passing. We worked with Judy as well as her mother, Madeline, in the Rio Linda Union School District.  Whenever I had to call for a sub, I always requested Judy as I knew my class would be in good hands.  She did an excellent job throughout her years of teaching and gave so much to the children.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Judy's family at this time.

I met judy 20 years ago through my best friend Nicole she was aunt judy to my children. Judy help me be an advocate for my child during her school years. even though Judy isn't related I love her dearly and I treasure every minute with her.

Judy was my aunt, she was my mother's best friend of 53 years. I grew up with Judy always being there for us and helping us with school. She was our children's great aunt, and of course tutor. She was always willing to help our children learn. We have so many great memories of her! We love her very much and she will always be in our hearts!

Judy was my best friend for 53 years. We were soul sisters. She was the sister I lost and I was the sister she never had. Judy was Aunt Judy to my children and my grandchildren. One of my grandsons called her Grandma. That thrilled her no end. She was a part of our family and her loss is very deeply felt. She put her life in God's hands many years ago and was prepared to meet her Maker.

Good bye Aunt Judy - who was never my Aunt but earned every bit of the honorary title. You taught me valuable life lessons as well as innumerable jokes. I still share those jokes with kids today and I think of you every time. You will not be forgotten. I hope you find a peaceful spot next to Dad up in Heaven and retell every 'punny' joke you ever knew.

May you find peaceful rest in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.

So saddened to hear about Judy's untimely passing. Although Dave only met her once, I have many many memories of the "queen of puns".  I sincerely hope she was writing down all of her hilarious memories of the things her students said and did over the years. My memories of my cousin Judy date back to June 24, 1948.  Our family was so excited to welcome her into the Wade family.  Judy continued through out my parents lives to always be there when needed and the source of lots of conversation and laughs, especially the ribbing she would take from my dad.  Rest in peace Judith Ann Wade.

Walt, I was so sorry to hear of Judy's passing. Many years of memories at Calvary Lutheran. Sunday School, Luther League and singing in the choir. She was a wonderful person.

I can remember talking with Judy and Walt Sr. on the phone at Walt Sr. & Mom's house and joking and kibitzing back and forth for at least an hour every time I called and she was at the house.  Every once in awhile Mom would pipe up and say now George be nice, (which of course I always was):-)))  I do miss those calls, but time marches on and in his own wisdom God calls us home, sometimes way too soon.
