He left behind; Wife Betty of 31 years, Parents; Ken and Lois; Siblings; Dale and (Dan) Walker, Joyce and Steve Corothers, Vance and Lora Piscitelli; nieces: Codi, Katherine, Kayla, and Celeste; Nephew, Vance and 2 Great nieces, Sophia, Arya; Mother-in-law Marjorie Pratt and Betty's siblings, nieces and nephews, plus many friends and co-workers.
Mark grew up in the Bay Area and Sacramento. He graduated form Foothill High School in 1978 and several years later from Sierra College. He worked for many companies before finding his niche at Acosta Sales Food Broker where he was employed most recently as Senior Account Manager. He gave his work his all and enjoyed numerous promotions and advancements over the last 18 years. He was witty and funny and loved to make people laugh. In addition, he was very kind and loving and always willing to lend a helping hand. He excelled at Bowling as well as playing baseball in Foothill Farms, with his Dad, Ken, as the Coach. He enjoyed the camaraderie of all the teams and learned how to play as a team member. Most recently his passion was golf! He was good to his family and enjoyed all of our family get togethers throughout the years. He was very compassionate and was faithful to numerous charities. At home he cared for birds, squirrels and many feral colonies of cats. Mark was loved by all that knew him. Mark will surely be missed by family and many friends. R.I.P. A Funeral Mass will be held on April 30, 2018 10 am at Holy Family Catholic Church in Citrus Heights. 7817 Old Auburn Rd. Citrus Height's, CA 95610. There will be a Celebration of Life for Mark following the service at The Holy Family Community Center.
