Mary passed away 28 June 2012 at Mercy San Juan Hospital at age 70. Mary was born 14 December 1941 in Ann Arbor, MI to Warren and Florence Sherman.
Mary graduated from Homer High School in 1962. She graduated from Spring Arbor College, Lansing, MI with a Bachelors Degree in February 1966. Mary began teaching in the Rudyard Township School District for the school year 1966-67. Mary resigned on 23 November 1973 to become a Home Maker.
Mary was married to John Sjoberg on 2 July 1972. She is survived by her husband, John, brother William Sherman, and two children, Paul and Carl, also four grandchildren Andrew, Anna, Elena and Elyse.
Mary was cremated and interned at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, CA.
