Ronald Marion Dumas, a long time resident of Citrus Heights passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 85 on Jan 26, 2015 in Roseville. Born in Ukiah, CA on Jul 14, 1929 he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Elva Dumas of Citrus Heights, his daughters Robin Hare of Rocklin and Ronna Dumas of Cameron Park; grandchildren Caitlin and Alanna Hare of Rocklin, Brenna Hare of McKinleyville, Stephani Gray of Sacramento, Erik and Alyssa Dumas-Bronner of Cameron Park.
Ronald worked for Pacific Bell for 35 years retiring as an engineer. He was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. serving in Korea from 1950 until 1952. After his retirement he kept active volunteering at Senior Gleaners for several years. His hobbies included photography, genealogy and gardening.
He was predeceased by his sisters Shirley Green and Barbara Cohen, his granddaughter Rachel Dumas-Bronner and his son-in-law Trent Hare.
