Lin is survived by her daughter Mary Cohran of San Ramon CA, her son Mark Liang of Roseville CA; 2 Grandsons: Marcel Cohran and Jonathan Liang. Her son Carl Liang preceded her in death but awaits at the gates of Heaven with open arms to reunite with his Mom.
Lin was born on August 25, 1931 in Hong Kong, China and moved to Hawaii when she was 17 after enduring extreme hardship due to World War 2. Lin completed High School while in Hawaii and later continued her education in Southern California. Lin moved to the San Francisco Bay and began working for RCA where she met her future husband Jack who became the father of her three children Mary, Carl and Mark. They purchased a home in Daly City where they would raise their 3 children until the untimely death of Jack in 1967. Lin took on the difficult responsibility of raising her children as a single parent, teaching them the principals of living a Christian life and leading by example.
Lin was generous with her time and prayers and helped many to open their hearts to accept Christ into their lives. Lin’s love, generosity, and sense of humor will be missed by many who had the privilege to know her. She was an active, dedicated member of the Good News Fellowship church in Daly City CA.
A funeral is scheduled for 1pm October 22, 2020 at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Colma CA , with a reception to follow at Moonstar Restaurant, 383 Gellert Blvd., Daly City, CA 94015. Pastor Chris Vinculado will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lins’s life. Condolences can be sent to the family at 7115 Claremont Circle, Roseville CA 95678.
