Colorado City – Mrs. Betty Frizzell, age 72, of Colorado City, died Tuesday evening in a local hospital. Services will be at 2 PM Friday, December 10, 2010, at the First Baptist Church in Colorado City with Dr. Jerry Shields officiating. Burial will follow in the Colorado City Cemetery under the direction Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Frizzell was born January 20, 1938 in Roscoe to O. H. and Estelle Harper Bryant and had lived in Colorado City all of her life. She married Gerald Frizzell on March 16, 1958 in Colorado City. He preceded her in death on December 17, 1997. She was an X-Ray technician for the Mitchell County Hospital for many years and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Frank and wife, Julie Frizzell of Lamesa; 2 daughters: Paula and husband, Rick Rogers of Dayton, OH and Kristy Frizzell of Colorado City; 5 grandchildren: Marsha Morris, Chance Frizzell, Sarah Batchelor, Nolan Frizzell and Stephanie Zant; 3 great grandchildren: Ethan Morris, Grace Zant and Landon Morris.
The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
