He was born on September 21, 1974 in Colorado City to Julian and Gregoria Luera Reyes
Christopher was a hard working man with a big heart that had room for a lot of love for everybody he knew. He was a man who loved to work with his hands, with an artists touch. He would spend hours tinkering on things, fixing them up, and adding his own creative flare. He took pride in the work that he did, especial on his own homemade leather jewelry and the many other items he would make as well including the rosaries he made out of plastic bags. Overall Christopher was a happy man who was trusting of others and very social. He enjoyed laughing and having a good time. Aside from his art work he enjoyed listening to his rock-n-roll music and doing things for his family.
Christopher is survived by his children Christopher Reyes Jr and fiancé Claudia Madrid of Snyder, and Kristin Reyes and husband Steven Torrez of Sweetwater as well as by 2 grandchildren Levi Reyes and Nathaniel Torrez with another one on the way. He is also survived by his brothers Julian Reyes of Colorado City, Arthur Reyes of Odessa, Charles Reyes of Colorado City, and Manuel Reyes of Colorado City, and by his sisters Diana Acuna of Sweetwater, Judy Rivera of Colorado City, Alice Gamez and husband Lupe of San Angelo, Carmen Rivera and husband Miguel of El Paso, and Mary Macias and husband Tony of Torrance California, as well as by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
