He was born in Silver Texas on December 10, 1923 to Charles and Idelaia Swann Jarnagin.
Boy was what you would call a true cowboy and a person that loved his community and his country. He served his country well when he was asked to having served in World War II. He lived through many fantastic experiences in life including having his ship sunk while at war and being the cofounder of a mammoth tusk and jaw bone while out at Lake Champion, which sits at the museum in Colorado City this day. After his time in the military he spent his days working as a carpenter and as a cowboy out at the Spade Ranch where he learned to be an expert roper and how to perfect training horses. In his spare time Boy would hunt arrowheads and make and fix knives and hatchets.
