Colorado City - Jean Moore, 83 passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Mitchell County Hospital in Colorado City, TX. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, February, 22, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at First United Methodist Church in Colorado City, TX, with Rev. James Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Handley Cemetery. Family visitation will be Monday, February 21, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Jean is survived by her Husband: Stan Moore of Colorado City; daughter: Brenda Jean Shifflett and husband Charles of Colorado City; brothers-In-law: Bill Taylor of Colorado City and Jack Minatra of Phoenix, Arizona; sister-In-law: Betty Nell Adams of Tacoma, Washington. She was preceded in death her by parents, 2 sons, and 2 sisters.

Jean was born October 7, 1927 in Colorado City, TX to parents Monroe Joseph and Ethel Dawson. Jean married John Stanley Moore March 9,1946 in Colorado City, TX. Jean loved playing games, sewing, walking, RVing , and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a Methodist Church member.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Morris, Kirk Morris, Colby Puckett, Raymond Watlington, Robert Miller, James Shifflett.
