Eva Fuller passed peacefully from this life at the age of 91 on Tuesday July 1, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and strength that will ripple through generations to come. She was a beautiful woman—from the inside out—whose life reflected grace, joy, and deep devotion.
Described as an icon of a woman, a hero, and the heart and soul of our family, she was a fierce yet gentle presence, a woman who truly changed things generationally. At a young age, after the tragic loss of her family, she became the caretaker of her younger sister. This act of selfless love defined her life: she was always the one who stepped in, who showed up, who gave everything for the people she loved.
Her greatest joy was her family. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to raising her children and pouring into the lives of her grandchildren. She prayed for us without ceasing, covering our lives with love and intercession. Every visit to her home was marked by joy—she would light up the room with her signature shout of excitement, wrapping each person in the warmest of hugs. Her laughter was contagious, and her personality sparkled with charm and wit. Though tiny in stature, she was mighty in spirit—bold, brave, and full of life.
She was also a remarkable cook who made sure no one ever left her home hungry. Her table, like her heart, was always full. She lived a life of service, delighting in the joy of others and giving endlessly of herself.
Above all, she loved her family deeply and unapologetically. Her greatest accomplishment wasn’t found in accolades, but in the way she made each of us feel uniquely and completely loved. There is not one of us who doubts the depth of her love or the power of her prayers.
Her legacy is one of fierce love and unshakable joy.
We take comfort in knowing that she is now in the presence of the Lord. And though our hearts are heavy, we celebrate her life, her impact, and the generations she has blessed.
Each member of her family will spend the rest of their lives on this earth trying to be more like her every single day. She was our example of love, strength, and selflessness. We will carry her legacy forward by striving to mirror the grace she so effortlessly lived with. There will never be enough words to encompass how truly wonderful she was. She was a gift to this world, and our hearts are forever marked by her life.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Pat Fuller and wife Gina of Austin, Danny Fuller and wife Kelley of Colorado City, Rachel Powell and husband George of Colorado City, Julie McWilliams and husband Scott of San Angelo, and Melinda Baker and husband Stan of Farmington New Mexico, as well as her grandchildren; Robert, Cindy, Holly, J.P., James Leslie, Kasandra, Liam, Alaina, Mary, Matt, Justin, Alex, Michael, Nikol, Kristie, Sarah, Cutter, Austin, Cody, Dalton, and Kirby, as well as several great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends are also left to cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Les Fuller, a son Michael Fuller, a brother Raymon Martinez, and by 2 sisters Ida Ramirez and Elfida Martinez.
