
She was born on June 13, 1928 in Houma, Louisiana to Thomas and Mary Hebert Hatch.
Belle was a family first woman. She always made sure to put her family first in any situation. She was a loving wife and mother always making sure to take care of her husband and supporting anything that he would do. For years she kept the books for his business Gene’s Radio and T.V. Service. In her spare time she would travel to visit her family that lived out of town and to spend time with her grandchildren. She also taught Sunday school for Oak Street Baptist in her earlier years and could be seen walking around the school to get her exercise.
Belle is survived by her husband Gene and by 3 sons; Wayne Parham and wife Linda of Mineral Wells, Sammy Parham of Colorado City, and Larry Parham and wife Darla of Grove Oklahoma, as well as 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters; Molly Cantrelle and husband Tom, Shirley Poirrier, Katie Miller, and Charles Hatch; sister in law, Claire Hatch; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Mary Hatch, her son Peter “Pete” Parham, two sisters, Dorothy Barnett and her husband Bert, and Lou Kelpsch and her husband Pat, 5 brothers Ira “Shack” Hatch and his wife Margaret, Alton Hatch and his wife Gladys, Percy “Pet” Hatch, Lynn Hatch, and Hugh Hatch and his wife Mae; as well as brother in laws, Don Poirrier and Chuck Miller.
A memorial service for Belle will be held on Saturday, September 24th at 2pm at the New Life Bible Ministry Church with Rev. James Williams officiating.
