He was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky on April 5, 1981 to Buddy and Chris Foster.
Jared was a good, down to earth man, who lived his life according to God’s will who is gone much too soon. He graduated from Colorado High in 1999, spent a year at Harden Simmons, before transferring to TSTC to get a certificate in Diesel Mechanics, which he which he used until he found his niche in life working in the oilfield as both a tractor trailer driver and a reverse rig operator, where he could coordinate a rig crew with the best of them. Jared was a man who believed in living his life the way God intended, living for the Lord and his family, and treating everyone around him the way he himself would want to be treated, with love and compassion. When one came across him they instantly knew he was a friendly easy-going loving person by a smile that lit up a room. He was an amazing husband and father and a great son and brother, next to God family was his life. He was also a great man of faith serving Christian Temple as a Deacon. He was also a member of the Texas Knife Makers Guild.
Jared enjoyed collecting antique tools, as he was a man who loved to work with his hands. He was a great cook and an even better knife-maker as he had an impeccable vision in anything that he did. His down-to-earth attitude, warm smile, and the love that he shared with everyone that knew him will be cherished for years to come.
Jared is survived by his wife Amy Foster and their children Hunter Rees Foster, Benjamin Lee Foster, and Erin Hope Foster all of Colorado City, his parents Buddy and Chris Foster of Abilene, by a grandfather David Haywood of Abilene, and by his sisters Rachel Meyers and husband Tony of Fenton Missouri and Sarah Hunnel and husband Cyle of Hawley, Texas, as well as by nieces and nephews.
