

Colorado City- Lillian Lura (Martin) Hallmark, 88 went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 21, 2010 in Colorado City, Texas. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 -6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, 2010. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Kiker- Seale Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kiefer Cauble officiating and burial to follow in the Roscoe Cemetery.
Lillian was born June 17, 1921 in Beeville, Texas to Henry and Rachel Jones. She grew up in a family of five siblings Milt, Luther, Woodrow, Alice and Randolph all of which preceded her in death.
On August 24, 1939, she married G.C. Martin and moved to Loraine in 1941. Lillian and G.C. raised four children, George, Gerald, Charla Mae, and Arleta Kaye; she is preceded in death by her husband, G.C., son, Gerald, grandson, Rusty Martin and granddaughter, Denise Heavin. On May 31, 1969, Lillian married Edgar Hallmark. Edgar preceded Lillian in death.
Lillian was a homemaker and a beautician. She loved all aspects of baseball and football. She was an avid Cowboy and Ranger fan. Lillian spent many hours enjoying the outdoors. She also was caretaker of the Lone Wolf and Loraine Cemeteries.
She is survived by her son, George Martin and wife, Brenda of Loraine and their children. Charla Mae Couri of Keller and her two daughters; Arleta Kaye Ingram of Midland and her two sons; She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was loved and will be missed by all.
