

Mrs. Lillian G. Thomas, age 92, of Colorado City, died Monday, June 30, 2014, in a Midland hospital. Services will be at 3 PM Thursday in the Kiker-Seale Chapel with Dr. Jerry Shields officiating. Burial will follow in the Colorado City Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Thomas was born April 13, 1922 in Colorado City to I.K. and Stella Williams Galey and had been a lifelong resident. She married Glenn Thomas on February 9, 1951 in Colorado City. He preceded her in death on May 20, 1995. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Colorado City.
She is survived by 2 sons: Dick and wife, Anne Thomas of Midland and Don and wife, Karen Thomas of Dallas; a brother, Bill Galey of Boise, ID; 4 grandchildren: Bryan Thomas, Kevin Thomas, Rob Thomas, and Michelle Shiller; 2 great grandchildren: Maron Shiller and Maddox Shiller; a special nephew, Bill Magee; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters: Macy Magee, Eva Webb and Floy Padgett; and a brother, J.L. Galey.
