He was born in Morelos Coahuila Mexico to Gregorio and Marcelina Galindo Quiroz on January 24, 1932
Ramon was a private man who spent his life enjoying family and working hard. He was generally a happy person who took the time to smile, enjoy all of God’s beautiful creations as he tended to the land and took care of the animals on the ranch. He loved being around family, his job as a rancher, and listening to his music. He was the type of man who was rarely seen inside as he was always outside doing something. As a Jack-of-all-trades he would always be seen sparking his creativity and tinkering with something, whether it was welding, doing carpentry, trying something mechanical, doctoring an animal, or tending to flowers. His warm gentle spirit, his smile, and his jokes will be cherished by his family.
Ramon is survived by his wife of 52 years Rebeca DeHoyos Quiroz of Colorado City, by his son Roberto Quiroz and wife Monique of Colorado City, by his daughters Marivel Castillo and husband Rudy of Colorado City, Ramona Arispe and husband Ruben of Colorado City, Rebecca White and husband Rockey of Colorado City, Maria del Socarro Davila and husband David of Colorado City, and Celia Ruiz and husband Hipolito of San Angelo. He is also survived by his grandchildren Ramiro, Jeremy, Veronica, Isaiah, Ruben Jr., Adrian, Marina, Sandra, Julian, Damian, Demetrio, Jacqueline, and Hector as well as by 16 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by his siblings Oscar Quiroz and Amparo Quiroz.
