He was born in Colorado City to Elza Burl Proctor and Hazel Lee Taylor Proctor on October 18, 1955.
Randall was a good Christian man who was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church in Colorado City for many years. He was what many refer to as a traditional Christian, always polite, and staying humble. After God was family, while he had no children of his own he raised his nephew Wesley as his own and shared a special bond with his sister Nancy whom he had a typical sibling bond with. Randall was a quiet man by nature, always paying attention and listening which came in handy for his life-long career as a prison guard, both in Colorado City and for his short stint in Lamesa. In his spare time he enjoyed listening to Rock-n-Roll music, riding motorcycles, studying history, and collecting things, especially guns. He was a kind hearted soul and the love he shared with those around him will be cherished.
Randall is survived by his sister Nancy Kenyon of Roby, by his nephews Wes Rogers of Colorado City and Colton Kenyon of Roby, by a special cousin Charlotte Browne of Dallas, and by several other cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Elza and Hazel Proctor.
A Celebration of Randall’s life will be held at the Oak Street Baptist Church in Colorado City on Friday, December 9th at 2pm. He will be laid to rest next to his mother Hazel in the Colorado City Cemetery following the funeral.
In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial contribution in his memory to Oak Street Baptist Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kiker Seale Funeral Home.
