

Shirley Marie Bradbury, 81, of Colorado City went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 15, 2025 in the Mitchell County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Colorado City with her loving family by her side.
She was born on March 3, 1943 in Colorado City to Thomas and Ollie Morris Davenport.
Family was Shirley’s life. While she did dabble a bit in the Tupper wear industry, she enjoyed being a stay-at-home mother. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved the simple country life. She found her peace cooking or being outdoors gardening or going camping with her family. She also enjoyed playing Dominoes or Yahtzee and watching rodeos. She taught her family the true meaning of love and what it means to be a family. The love she shared will be cherished for a lifetime.
Shirley is survived by her husband Clayton Bradbury of Colorado City, by 2 sons Lynn Bradbury and wife Denice of Colorado City and Stan Bradbury and wife Sheila of Granbury, and by grandchildren; Shiloh Bradbury, Malarie Harris, Cory Bradbury, Kelby Bradbury, Holly Bradbury, Holden Bradbury, and Treighton Bradbury. She is also survived by a sister Neva Moore as well as by several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parent George and Ollie Davenport, by a son Kerry Bradbury, and by siblings Frances Franklin, Betty Justice, Ruby Carter, Thomas George Davenport, and Thomas Glen Davenport.
The family will be present for a visitation in the Kiker Seale Funeral Home Chapel from 12-2pm on Tuesday, February 18th from 12-2pm with a service to follow at 2pm with Scott Dykowski of the 22nd and Austin Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in the Westbrook Cemetery.
