

She was born on November 25, 1934 in Turkey Texas to Willie and Lela Card Marshall.
As a child Christine moved to Plainview where she was raised, and where she graduated highschool. On July 8, 1956 she married the love of her life, Charles Henderson and in 1966 they moved to Colorado City where they settled their roots. Christine worked many jobs in her life but is most known in Colorado City as owner and operator of Surplus City, Marshall’s Downtown, and Henderson’s on Hickory. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.
Christine is survived by her husband Charles Henderson of Colorado City, her daughter Alicia Murphy and husband Marshall of Albuquerque, N.M., and by her granddaughters Alison Murphy, Emily Murphy, and Claire Murphy all of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings.
The family will be present for a visitation on Wednesday from 9-11 am at the Kiker Seale Funeral Home of Colorado City, a graveside service will follow at 2 pm in the Sweetwater Cemetery.
