Mrs. Zona L Erwin Pritchett

Colorado City- Mrs. Zona L. Pritchett, age 90, died Wednesday, July 14, 2010 in Colorado City. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 16, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 11 O’clock A.M. at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jerry Shields and Rev. Kiefer Cauble officiating and burial to follow in the Colorado City Cemetery.

Zona was born on August 20, 1919 to Grover and Sarilda Lewis Erwin in Scurry County, Texas. She had been a resident of Colorado City since 1919. She graduate from Ira High School and was a LVN at Root Memorial and Family Medical. Zona married Joseph C. Pritchett, Jr. who preceded her in death. She also served as a volunteer at the Heart of Texas Museum in Colorado City.

She leaves behind her daughter, Becky Harkins and husband, Gary of Colorado City; grandchildren: Douglas Harkins, Glenn Harkins, Corey Beavers and Jody Beavers; great-grandchildren: Christopher Harkins, Nicholas Harkins, Trey Beavers, Amanda Harkins, Emily Harkins, Terah Lendermon, Mikaela Harkins, Mackenzie Harkins , Sally Ann Beavers and Audrey Pliley; sister, Joann Thomason of Lubbock; brother, Robert Erwin of Ira.

Zona is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Sally Beavers; sister, Vaynelle Hodges; brothers, G C Erwin, H L Erwin and J R Erwin
