Arthur Wayne Boling

Columbia - Arthur Wayne Boling, 62, of Columbia, SC, passed away on November 18, 2024. Born on January 1, 1962, in Columbia, SC, he was the son of the late Arthur Boling and Lilian Branham Boling. Arthur was a proud graduate of Keenan High School and worked for many years in the Environmental Services Department at Prisma Baptist Hospital, where he was known for his hard work and dedication.

A true Gamecock fan, Arthur had a deep love for University of South Carolina football, always cheering on his team with passion. He was also an avid animal lover and cherished his time spent with friends, always offering kindness and a warm smile. Arthur's caring nature and joyful spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his sister, Helen Davis (Larry); niece, Amanda Davis; nephew, Matthew Davis; and great-niece, Maddie Davis. Arthur was a beloved family member and friend, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him.

A memorial service to honor Arthur's life will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 5601 Old Leesburg Road, Hopkins, SC 29061. The family will receive friend from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM prior to the service. All who knew Arthur are welcome to attend and celebrate his life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Arthur’s memory to a local animal shelter or charity of choice.
