

COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Brice Jessie Driggers, 73, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2022 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Fort Jackson National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2022, at the funeral home.
Mr. Driggers died Friday, May 27, 2022. Born in Midway, Georgia, he was a son of the late Charles Jackson Driggers and Lucille Weitman Driggers. At 21 years old, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and served for 21 years. He also served during the Vietnam era. After retiring from the Army, he worked as the manager of Big Lake Hunt Club in Columbia, SC. Brice loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, and being surrounded by his family. He also had a home in Colombia, South America.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Nancy Elena Morales Driggers; sons, Brice Joseph Driggers and Clay James Driggers; daughter, Katrene Driggers Zerati and son-in-law, Hicham; grandchildren, Clayton Zerati and Sofia Zerati; brother, Gary Driggers; and sisters, Carol Howard and Patricia Durrence.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Randall Driggers and Simmie Driggers and sister, Margaret Lescalett.
