She was preceded in death by her parents, Hilda and Thomas Wise, and her husband, Edward Eden.
Carol and Edward were married 24 years and had a tremendous love and affection for each other. Prior to Edward’s battle with Parkinsons, they enjoyed cooking and travel. They especially liked the mountains of North Carolina. They showed the love by their spoiled pets, both cats and dogs.
Born in Columbia, SC, she graduated from AC Flora High School. She completed a program as an occupational therapy assistant and worked briefly as a COTA in Birmingham, Alabama. She then returned to Columbia and pursued a program in Computer Technology at Midlands Tech. She retired from the State hospital where she worked at the Burn Center.
Surviving are sisters, Margaret Wise and Suzanne Wise, and brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Anna Eden.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at Elmwood Cemetery.
