Craig Timothy Bacom

COLUMBIA - A graveside service for Craig Timothy Bacom, 71, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019 in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.

Mr. Bacom passed away Friday, May 24, 2019. Born in Columbia on November 22, 1947, he was the son of the late Robert Bacom and Betty Younginer Bacom Thompson and step-son to William Thompson.

He was a graduate of AC Flora High School and Kennesaw State University. Craig was a member of Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church in Lexington, an avid golf player and enjoyed playing chess. He was a loving husband, father and loving caregiver when his mother and step-father had cancer.

Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Mary Thompson Bacom of Columbia; daughter, Erin Daniels of Columbia; and cousins, Bruce Gordon of Charlotte, NC, Scott Gordon of West Columbia and Jeff Younginer of Arkansas.
