A graveside service will be held 2:30 pm Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Edens-Eagerton Cemetery in Alvin, South Carolina. The family will receive friends and family on Sunday prior to the service from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel.
Eddie was born July 5, 1968 in Charleston to Leonard and Cynthia Eagerton.
If you ask the people who knew Eddie, they will tell you he was one of a kind. He was a good man -intelligent, kind-hearted, with a great sense of humor who could make anyone laugh. Eddie could do anything he set his mind to and proved it many times over the years working on projects. Though he would never admit it if you asked, he had a crafty hand for building and working on a variety of things. From vehicles, boats, or dirt bikes to house renovations, putting up fences, welding, you name it. He could do it and would do it well. He also enjoyed other hobbies like fishing, cooking a new recipe, or riding his very cherished Harley Davidson motorcycle. From Eddie’s loved ones to his work family at W.O Blackstone, his passing has affected so many although we all can feel some relief knowing that he’s now reunited with his son Aaron.
He was predeceased by his son, Aaron Eagerton. Those left to cherish his memories include his wife Sheila Eagerton; a daughter, Alexandra Woodall; two sons, Eddie Lee Eagerton, Andrew Woodall; his parents, Cynthia and Leonard Eagerton; and two granddaughters, Kaelyn Eagerton and Mia Bockus.
