Gary Chandler Hickman

COLUMBIA - A memorial service for Gary Chandler Hickman, 71, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Kittiwake Baptist Church located in West Columbia, South Carolina. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, is assisting the family.

Gary passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022. Gary was born in Bethesda, Maryland to the late John Chandler Hickman and Betty Jo Sears Hickman. He retired as the general manager of International Paper. He was a member of Kittiwake Baptist Church and enjoyed golfing and bowling.

Surviving are his wife, Frankie A. Hickman of Irmo, S.C.; daughters, Kristy Milock (Mike), and Kari Munn (Philip); son, Steven Hickman (Jeannie); eight grandchildren, Rachel, Brittany, Matthew, Ethan, Philip, Luke, Lily, and Maddox; two great-grandchildren, Talyn and Logan; sister, Susan Gonnella (Bobby); two brothers, Jeff Hickman (Pam) and Mike Hickman (Julia); sister-in-law, Dean Turner and nephew, Josh Turner; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gary is deeply missed by his family and all of those who knew him.
