Grace Patricia O'Neal

Grace Patricia O'Neal passed away peacefully September 27, 2023 at Carroll Campbell Place, Lexington, South Carolina after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born on March 15, 1939 in London, England to Thomas Gallaway and Grace Gould Gallaway and eventually moved to the United States.

Pat was a successful real estate agent for many years and loved to travel. Her laugh was infectious and her "cheeky" zingers were on-point. She loved her afternoon tea time. She dressed to the nines and was neat as a pin. Her "lippy" was always near for a touch-up, her hair was the best shade of red and her nails were perfection.

Pat is survived by her daughter Susan Beylotte, stepdaughter Kym Brophy (Tom), stepson John O'Neal (Sharlon), and her grandchildren Shawn Cooper, Kylie Beylotte, Katherine, Kelly, and Patrick O'Neal, Olivia and Amelia Brophy, sisters Beth Kemp (Roger), Barbara Slade (Pete), Jean Shearwood, Jean Grantham (Terry) and brothers Tom Gallaway and Harry Balloch (Ann).

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Kevin Cooper, sister-in-law Ruby Gallaway and her husband John O'Neal, Sr.

A private service will be held October 13th, 10:00 a.m. at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her honor.
