

COLUMBIA - Jacqueline McNeill “Jackie” Cauthen died Tuesday, January 3, 2017. She was born in Pineland, Texas on January 13, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Lottie and William McNeill. She married the late William Roy Cauthen in 1946. She was a longtime member of Saint Andrews Road Church of Christ, where she provided the altar flowers for Sunday services. After a career of over 40 years, she retired from Belk. She loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed cooking for them. She also had a love of traveling with her husband and extended family. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her children, James Roy Cauthen and Ann Cauthen Henry. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Sarah Exum Cauthen, son-in-law, William Pierce Henry (Ruth); grandchildren, Bradley McNeill Henry (Madison), Meredith Henry Falls (Jason), William deSaussure Cauthen and Alexander Poinsett Cauthen; great-grandchildren Waylon Michael Falls, William Pierce Henry II and Charles Weston Henry; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jackie’s visitation will be held Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Saint Andrews Road Church of Christ. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Saint Andrews Road Church of Christ, with burial immediately following at Bush River Memorial Gardens.
