Jeanette Allen Catoe Lowrance

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Shandon United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. in Wesley Fellowship Room at the church.

Jeanette was born September 28, 1922 in Shelby, N.C., to Dennis Gaither and Maggie Hamrick Allen. She retired from Southern Bell after 33 years of service. Jeanette was a longtime member of Shandon United Methodist Church and the Wesley Fellowship Sunday School class. She also enjoyed volunteering on the Voice Publication.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husbands, John Woodrow Catoe and William Esli Lowrance; brothers, Frank and Lawrence Allen; sisters, Edith Allen and Vera Self; and a stepdaughter, Suzanne Tuck. Survivors include a daughter, Judy Roberts (Butch); sister, Patsy Bradley; stepson, Bobby Russell; stepdaughter, Judy Murdock; granddaughter, Jessica Greulich; numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shandon United Methodist Church.
