Katherine P. Simpson, 98, died Monday, January 24, 2022. She was the widow of LTC Glenn C. Simpson, U.S. Army (Ret.). Born in Mississippi, Mrs. Simpson lived in Columbia for over fifty years, most recently at Rice Estates. She was a faithful member of North Trenholm Baptist Church.
Surviving are her two sons, Glenn C. Simpson, Jr. of Washington, N.C., and Robert Mark Simpson of Corvallis, OR, three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
No public services are planned at this time. Memorials may be sent to North Trenholm Baptist Church, 6515 N. Trenholm Road, Columbia, SC 29206.
