FOREST ACRES - Funeral service for Loraine P. Reeves, 71, will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at North Trenholm Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Copeland officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service at the church.
Loraine was born in Charleston to the late Claudius W. “Buck” Pender and Minnie Louise Brunson. She retired after 28 years of service as a librarian with USC and was a 1964 graduate of A.C. Flora.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, George Reeves; a daughter, Elaine Hatchell; a son, Michael Reeves (Michelle); and two grandchildren, Colton Reeves and Hampton Reeves.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Claudius W. “Chuck” Pender, Jr.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
