Letha "Faye" Barnes

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Dunbar Funeral Home, 3926 Devine Street, Columbia, SC with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Rd, Columbia SC. A gathering of family and friends will be held from Noon until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Faye was a faithful servant to her Lord. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, her family was her soul. She was a longtime member of Pine Lakes Baptist Church. Faye was retired from Richland Memorial Hospital/Palmetto Health working in admissions and registration in the breast care center for over 30 years. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Nell Craft.

She is survived by her daughter Renee (Brian) Burgess. Grandchildren Robert Barnes, Amanda Barnes, Alicia Burgess, Kasie (Greg) Crawford, Alexx Barnes, Denise Boulware, RoseAnn (Jeffery) Jumper and many great grandchildren and one great great grandchild on the way, a nephew Donovan Craft, and niece Allison Craft Miller. Faye was predeceased by her husband Billy James Barnes Sr., a daughter Elizabeth Faye Barnes, son Billy “Bill” James Barnes Jr. and her loving brother John Richard “Rick” Craft. Pallbearers will be, Robert Barnes, Travis Fraley, Donovan Craft, Greg Crawford, Tracy Varnadore.
