Mary Kral Jackson

COLUMBIA - Funeral service for Mary Kral Jackson, 80, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 13, 2015, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Sandy Run Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2015, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. Mrs. Jackson died Friday, April 10, 2015. Born in Chicago, Ill., she was a daughter of the late Jeremiah Joseph Kral and Marion Cecelia Macnamera Kral. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving are her children, Rose Jackson of Columbia, Connie Barnett of Lexington, Jimmie Jackson (Billie) of Orlando, Fla., Frank Jackson (Ruby) of Columbia, John Jackson of Gaston, Georgianna Kaiser (Charles) of Sandy Run, Cindy Jackson Byrd (Daniel) of Laurel Hill, N.C., Virginia Chavez of Gaston, Velma Jackson Aaron (James G.) of Winston Salem, N.C.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, James Lenard Jackson; son, Bill Jackson; and sister, Celeste McCabe. The family would like to thank Pathway Hospice, especially Donna L. Goodwin, R.N. for all her love and kindness to our mother.
