Michael Glenn Maggard

Michael was married to Julie Nicole Campbell Maggard. He worked as a truss designer and was a graduate of Homeward Education Association and Central Carolina Technical College. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and an Eagle Scout.

Michael enjoyed gaming, reading, and playing board games with his family. He and his wife Julie were foster parents for Epworth Children’s Home. Michael deeply loved his pets and cherished his wife and family above all else.

He is survived by his loving wife, Julie Maggard; his parents, Glenn and Anna Maggard; his brothers, Stephen Maggard (Katie), Andrew Maggard, Daniel Maggard (Adelaide), and Bryan Maggard; his in-laws, John and Kathy Campbell; his brothers-in-law, Mark Campbell (Charity) and David Campbell (McKenzie); his sister-in-law, Suzanne Campbell; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life to honor Michael will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Beulah Baptist Church, 9487 Garners Ferry Road, Hopkins, SC 29061. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.
