

WEST COLUMBIA - Graveside service for Nancy T. “Pat” Lewis, 85, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2015, in Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 28, 2015, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. Mrs. Lewis died Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Dewitt Edward Taylor and Nellie Mims Taylor. Mrs. Lewis was a world traveling professional wrestler for many years as “Daisy Mae The Hillbilly Girl” and “Patsy O’Neal The Hollywood Starlet” she also appeared in August of 1953 on “What’s My Line” with Eva Gabor. Mrs. Lewis was very devoted to her family and was seen as a true caregiver. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church for over 40 years and loved her church and church family. Surviving are her sons, Walter R. “Tumpy” Lewis, Jr. (Tena) of Licking, Mo., William E. “Doozie” Lewis (Janice) of Columbia; daughter, Suzanne L. “Cricket” Pittman (Billy) of West Columbia; grandchildren, Nicci Schneider, R. Wade Lee (Brandy), Walter R. “T.J.” Lewis, III, Jamie E. Lewis, Clayton J. Lewis, Taylor N. Pittman, William I. “Randy” Pittman, III, Ashlyn E. Pittman; many great-grandchildren; and brothers, Robert Taylor (Lou), Alvin Taylor (Doris) and Bennie Taylor. She was predeceased by her husband of 17 years, Walter R. Lewis, Sr.; daughter, JoAnn Lewis Sears; a sister; and two brothers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church, 546 Gardners Terrace Road, West Columbia, SC 29172.
