COLUMBIA – Nedra Mae Schomp, 102, died Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Born in Kiefer, Oklahoma, she was a daughter of the late John William Andrew and Frances Orpha Glick. She was a member of Exchange Avenue Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for over 50 years where she taught 4 and 5 year olds and sang in the choir. Later, she became a member of Sandy Level Baptist Church in Blythewood, SC where she taught the older Sunday School Class and sang in the choir. Most recently, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Columbia and a devotional leader at Fairfield Nursing Home.
Surviving are her daughters, Sherry L. Roberts (RD) of Columbia, SC and Nedra Jean Smith (David) of Blythewood, SC; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Alva Edward Schomp, two brothers, and four sisters.
