WEST COLUMBIA - Funeral services for Pamela C. Crossland, 61, who went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 12, 2025 will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Congaree Baptist Church located at 101 Pine Ridge Drive in West Columbia, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Rd, Columbia, SC 29209. The family will receive friends at Congaree Baptist Church on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.

Born in Columbia, SC, Pam, as most knew her, was born on September 13, 1964 to the late Bobby Laverne Chavis and Camilla Croft Chavis. Pam worked for State Farm Insurance for over 30 years until she retired due to her Pancreatic Cancer Diagnosis in 2015. Pam lived every day as a faithful servant of Christ. Her life was a living testimony of Jesus’ grace, mercy, and unconditional love. Whether through her words, her warm presence, or her acts of kindness, Pam made sure the light of Christ shone through her.

She was predeceased by her father, Bobby L. Chavis. Pam is survived by her loving mother, Camilla; her devoted husband of 42 years, David L. Crossland; and her daughters, Amy Wessinger (Weston) and Ashley Caulder (Martin). She also leaves behind three cherished grandchildren, Aiden, Sullivan, and Abigail, who were the light of her life and brought her endless joy. In addition, Pam is survived by her brother, Danny Chavis; two nieces and a nephew; and her in-laws, Allen and Joy Goff. She will also be remembered fondly by her cousins, extended family, and countless friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
