Revelene was born October 7, 1934 in Paw Creek (Charlotte), N.C., to Daniel David and Bessie Atkinson Skipper. She was a beloved matriarch and creative force of nature with a strong abiding Christian faith.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Barney; two children, Betsy Coleman and an infant son; and five siblings. Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Wolfe, Kim Paris and husband Cal, Juli Schwartz; three grandchildren, Alaina Francisco and husband Efrain, Josh Paris and wife Jamie, Rachel Benfield and husband Marcus; four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ernestine Knight and Frankie Lockey and husband Paul.
